The Threat of a Global Water Shortage

While studying the above: food of (almost) all kinds (like water) is energy; but water also is a necessity for generating electric energy and that is not only for hydro stations or growing energy crop but to cool most power plants from nuclear to gas and coal; or to drive steam turbines; vast amounts are also needed to dissolve and clean or separate all kinds of natural resources from oil to gold; hence, water will soon become another cost driving factor.
